THE ONE YOU CARRY OUT TO THE PORCH π¦
you take it out after the sun drops and set it on the porch rail. the artwork has been taking in daylight since morning, so now it is the only thing out there handing any back. somebody always asks to hold it.

What Collectors Ask First
does it really glow, or is the artwork just printed?
does it really glow, or is the artwork just printed?
it really glows. the glow lives in the artwork on the body, so the manor, the vines and the bats come up green in the dark while the black stays black. if no light has reached it yet, it will not do anything.
how do i get it to light up?
how do i get it to light up?
give it light first. daylight on a windowsill or a stretch under a lamp is enough, and the more light it takes in the more it hands back. then walk into a dark room.
how long does the glow hold?
how long does the glow hold?
as long as the light you gave it. a short stretch under a lamp gives you a short glow, a day by the window gives you a long one. it fades as it goes and you put it back in the light. no batteries, no switch.
will it leak in my bag, and does the straw stay in?
will it leak in my bag, and does the straw stay in?
the lid flips shut and locks, and the seal sits inside the lid, so it rides flat in a bag without dripping. the straw pushes up into the underside of the lid until it seats, and then it stays there. wash it by hand and dry the base, so nothing sits wet where you cannot see it.
